Spell Jar Ornaments

When you forget your knives, your guns, and your guillotines and need some help defeating enemies – seen and unseen, turn to your jul balls for a little extra protection.

“Witch balls” originated as a way to trap a witch in a shiny glass ball. These, however, are spell jars, just in cute ornaments.

Since the ornaments are “sealed,” to release their intentions, you can un-clip the top and simply shake out the contents, gently blow into them, or keep them sealed until you need to use them, be it as an offering or as a wish.

Let’s attract some good shit, and fucking add some blessings to this yuletide.

Unless stated otherwise, powders and incense were purchased, while greenery was harvested.

Note: The creator of this website has spent 20 minutes trying to line up the fuckin’ trees in the below backgrounds and it LOOKS RIGHT ON THE BACK SIDE of the website, but not when I publish and refresh so it’s just… super annoying.

Wishing Ornament

Created during the Full Moon, on a Thursday during the moon hour.

Since the wish lies within the ornament, you’ll need to release the intention when you’re ready. You can easily pop off the top and (closing your eyes) blow gently into the ornament.

Actually, this is the wrong picture. It’s in a dropper. I vacuum packed it because I thought it would spill, and the vacuum pack broke the lid, and it was definitely spilling….and broken. So! It’s in a normal dropper but I highly suggest switching it to a clear one since it’s so pretty.

This was charged on the full moon, but as I don’t work with Odin, you may want to put your own intention into it before using.

These herbs are not directly related to Odin, but rather act as potential offerings to him – Frankincense, Myrhh, and Sandalwood often being given. Frankincense is related to wisdom/insight, Myrhh protection & healing, Sandalwood calm & focus, and Dragon’s Blood all things warfare & fire.

Eir Oil/Healing Oil

Many of the herbs associated with Eir are not herbs I either had growing, or had easy access to. Instead, I used a combination of healing herb essential oils, and Lavender harvested during the Waxing Gibbous – day before full moon.

This was created and bottled during the Full Moon.

Dark Moon Oil

This is a Dark Moon-Death Oil Combination.

It is infused with anger from 2 individuals and intended for more baneful work than typical death works. It was buried / charged by the dark moon night. It will not smell good. Anger is considered a high-energy emotion, so we purposely used it in efforts to be a quick-acting oil.

You can use this when trying to end behaviors, and to banish or hex people, etc. Wash your hands if you touch it, because it’s gross.

Myrrh

Purification & Consecration, banishing, Breaking Hexes, Cleansing, Protection

As an incense, Myrrh is thought to be a conduit to the spirits of the deceased. Can’t bring Tony Stark back from the dead.
